Solid Video Colors sometimes on boot

I am having a problem I cant seem to find anywhere else on these boards. Sometimes when my computer boots and I put my password in, the desktop isnt loaded properly. The desktop will either be solid black or any solid color, and any windows that open will turn solid black in the middle but you can still move them around and see the tool bar. I have tried a clean install, hoping it would correct the problem, but it hasnt. I have also downloaded the latest drivers for my video card (Nvidia GeForce 6600) from their website, the vista beta drivers. I am running a P4 2.66 with 2gb of ram. Does anyone have a fix for what seems to be a video issue? Thank you very much!

I've seen this as well. Must be something funky with the OS. I just rebooted and it was fine after that.
